Geoff Saunders

Geoff Saunders (LLB) — Partner

Geoff graduated from Canterbury University in 1976 and commenced practice with his family firm of Saunders & Co that year. He became a partner there in 1979 specialising in commercial and property law for the next 19 years. Seeking a change in direction, Geoff set up his own practice in July 1998 as Geoff Saunders Business and Property Law.

In November 2001 he joined practice with Lee Robinson to form Saunders Robinson. Geoff specialises in commercial property law, trusts and estate planning and sports law.

Areas of Practice:


In his leisure time, Geoff is a keen golfer, maintaining a handicap of around 1. He captained the Canterbury Golf team for several years and represented the province for approximately ten years. He has an active involvement in various not for profit organisations and has recently been appointed as a Director of New Zealand Golf.
